Eid-ul-Adha at Babylas Halal Farm

We're so excited to host you at Babylas Halal Farm for Eid-ul-Adha! Here are some things to know to prepare for the day.

Before you come

• Contact us to schedule your time slot and talk through the details of your order. 

• Sign the waiver. 

• Dress for the weather and bring sun protection.

• Dress for messy work with sharp objects. This means boots or closed-toed shoes, long pants, and a long-sleeved layer.

• Bring bug spray or treat your clothing to prevent ticks. Learn more

• Bring plenty of water.

On the day of Eid

• Arrive on time. If you will be late, please notify Brother Daouda.

• Park in the dirt lot near the first entrance. Please don't park in the private driveway near the house.

• Check in with a volunteer.

• Pay your balance and make sure your waiver is signed.

• Note that we cannot do small meat cuts. You can bring your meat to a butcher recommended by Brother Daouda.

• An outdoor bathroom will be available on-site.

After you leave

• Do a tick check. It's very important to prevent tick bites or remove them as soon as possible.
